An American [Couple] in Paris… With the Cannes Film Festival underway, I’ve had French inspired design + weddings on my mind. Here are some truly magnifique images from the wedding of fellow Chicagoans…in Paris, photographed by Studio Cabrelli. Tres jolie!

In addition to the beautifully shot images, I love all of the details of the wedding party attire. This wedding is like modern, preppy + chic all in one. Everything ties in so well + creates such a clean, crisp look. The venue is Alcazar Garden in Balboa Park/ San Diego California.

not to mention the tan suits + the groom’s blue polka dot tie.
 The bride wore Melissa Sweet, the men wore suits from Banana Republic, and the adorable shoes are Chinese Laundry. How adorable are these four legged friends? This week: a little dog love inspiration aka cute images galore. I am happy to have a precious little doggie who was even with us on our wedding day. Needless to say, I love seeing images of couples who include their dog(s) in their big day. My heart just melt when I saw these beautiful images of these lovely LA area couples and their adorable dog(s), photographed by Jules Bianchi.
It definitely looks like man’s best friend knew it was a special day. Too cute for words! Of course, there are Hollywood Glam images out there…but then there are GORGEOUS Hollywood Glam images. These photographers of whose images I have shown in this inspiration of the week feature are very talented – not to mention well versed in Hollywood Glam. Wow! Eye candy, eye candy, eye candy… Check out these Hollywood Glam images from Tony Florez photography based [near my recent home] in Corona del Mar, CA. He’s photographed a number of celebrity weddings + celebrity events…and it shows…these are so Hollywood they are like wedding photos + publicity shots in one…and yep, I know from experience working in Hollywood.

it was home to the first Academy Awards, has housed the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Clarke Gable to name a few, and in 2005, underwent beautiful renovations – truly exuding the style of both old + new glitz + [Hollywood] glamour! The hotel even has a suite named after Marilyn Monroe and a Gable + [Carole] Lombard penthouse. The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel can hold events from 15 people to 1500 in various rooms: Blossom Room [home of The Oscars], penthouse, Tropicana, Dakota + Teddy's.
