St. Patrick's Day is a big deal in Chicago. There are two parades, including the always great South Side Irish Parade and many other wonderful festivities including dyeing the Chicago River-GREEN!

Here is a pic, taken by my husband, from yesterday…

This is the newly dyed green Chicago River (you can learn more about it here). The building behind it is the Trump Tower.

My husband and I were also married in the wonderful + beautiful Old St. Patick's Church in Chicago, (my parish) so it is extra special to us.

Pingg allows you to choose from various galleries or upload your own image, so the design is your complete individual style- custom made. How cool is that? Martha Stewart and others even helped to design some invitations as well.

Pingg also sends your invite via snail mail {print}, e-mail, sms/text, Web, and social networks such as facebook, twitter and more. Then you can later manage responses, make changes and even send thank you notes. I could go on and on about it really…but will spare you. Go ahead, take a look for yourself.

Sephora Water Tower Place is hosting bridal event every Sunday for the rest of March. Each Sunday there is something different but they will have a DJ, makeup representatives, event co. reps, and even some photographers depending on the Sunday.

Tom Brady married Gisele Bundchen today in a small private ceremony. I look forward to seeing pictures of the dress! It is described from US Magazine as "a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a
trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with
attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce
& Gabbana." That sounds lovely, of course…but the cutest part? 

Her three dogs wore matching Dolce & Gabbana
floral lace collars…awe! Now that I want to see pictures of…so cute.

Oh my gosh, totally my thing…. I adore Audrey Hepburn and always have. She is one of my idols, fashion icons and in my mind, THE film sweetheart. During my recent trip to Belgium {where she was born}, I asked the concierge at the hotel if they knew the area where she grew up {couldn't find it online, of course} because I wanted to visit. I must have been the first person to ever ask that because they had no idea.

Needless to say, I was happy to come across Audrey {and Cary Grant} tags via Jessica at Starr Designs' Etsy page.  I think they are great for birthday tags, or anything wedding… you name it. Lovely!

The new season of We TV's "Platinum Weddings" started tonight. New episode 1: Couple Joanna & Michael plan a wedding (with celeb wedding planner David Tutera's help) and wed in Philadelphia. New episode 2: Couple Amy & David plan a wedding and wed in Southern California. Get those Tivos or DVRs set if you haven't already.
