Vendor Spotlight: Jayme Fort Designs

Vendor spotlight is a new trendsetting wedding feature highlighting some of the most wonderful modern wedding + event vendors, which I select myself. These are not sponsored or paid posts…quite simply, I am sharing with you vendors I like!

The first vendor spotlight goes to Jayme Fort Designs.

Jayme Fort Designs is a complete custom stationery boutique. She offer custom designs for all types of stationery including full wedding collections, personal stationery, monograms, and handmade cards and invitations. She describes her style as a little more architectural… a little less fluffy. She wanted to bring a breath of modern design to a wedding world full of the expected, traditional and floral designs.

Jayme’s favorite aspect of what she does is DESIGNING. She loves to design, and creating new custom looks that speak to the bride or client is what keeps her motivated! She loves when people come to her and say “I have been looking everywhere and can’t find anything that I like!” Challenge accepted…

They are all wedding stationery, each has a complete coordinating collection and each is completely customizable. The last image is one from my holiday collection… I used an engagement picture and it doubled as the couple’s Christmas card… it has the most beautiful vintage feel because it is printed on thick linen textured card stock rather than the usual glossy photo paper and has lovely rounded corners for one more added detail.

Ways to Modernize Your Event: Invitations / Letter Addressing

Creative + modern invitations are one thing – nice looking envelopes are another. I love modern fonts + handwriting.

Some of the most unique + cool handwriting / letter addressing I have seen is from Gala Font. I first heard of Gala Font from Amy Jean aka Relentless Bride via her post, here. Check it out. She is using Gala Font for her own upcoming wedding.

Now, I wish I had handwriting like that!

Inspiration of the Week: Hollywood Glam Wedding – Invitations

Yesterday, I posted some great passion red + black invitations that are great for a Hollywood Glam wedding. However, red + black aren’t the only colors [I will be posting another great wedding Hollywood Glam wedding early Monday] you can use. If you’re planning a Hollywood Glam event in a different color palette, check out some of these invites that can set the tone for your old Hollywood Glam or new Hollywood Glam themed wedding or event.

Planning a Hollywood Glam Wedding with passion red + black…and looking for invitations to match?

These red + black invitations from Letterpunch Design are cute + different…allowing you to ‘[hole] punch out’ your wedding day + month. Guests also tear off the response card from the invite card.

These invitations from Giddy Ink, that I spotted via Style Me Pretty, are reminiscent of a 1940′s style playbill. And, the envelope below held the place card for each guest – adorned with a red + black feather.

This week’s inspiration {of the week} ideas focuses on unique centerpieces…each post will focus on different inspiring ideas to make tables more eye-catching and so not passe.

Today: Paper Flower Centerpieces

I like this inspiration for showers…or even engagement parties, if you are having one. Paper centerpieces add a new kind of fun to the table. Here are some favorites that make me want to go out and make them today…or this weekend when I have more time.

Simple white paper flowers from Craftstylish. How cute are these placed in a french press? Learn how to make them here.

Instead of using typical centerpieces for a gala celebrating the Metropolitan Opera’s 125th year anniversary, David Stark Design and Production decorated the space using various graphics + fonts and look at the result…

amazing.
